In my opinion, we are not coming upon a food shortage. We have a problem of over-population, waste (food challenges & how much food gets thrown out), and over consumption. And let us not forget the poaching problem depleting our awesome animals.

  1. Yes, the problem isn’t that we don’t have enough food. There are 7 billion people on the planet. Mathematically, that means we HAVE to have more than enough food. Have you read Daniel Quinn? There’s an essay of his called the “New Renaissance,” I believe that relates to our civilization as knocking the bricks from our foundation to create a lofty penthouse for us at the top. But then what happens when we’ve knocked out all the bricks from under us? “Civilized” humans are in for an unfortunate ride…
