Energy Harvest

Energy Floors has developed an illuminated dancefloor fit for Saturday Night Fever that doubles as a renewable energy source. The LED-lit floor converts dancers’ moves into usable electricity. In San Francisco, the Temple Night Club has a permanent Energy Floor installed, constantly harvesting the wasted energy from their customers.”

This seriously needs to be in every club! It would be even better if the energy from the floor is what powered the club for the night instead of offsetting the cost of utilities.

” Researchers at the University of Georgia have developed a way to harness the power of the photosynthetic process to generate a clean form of electricity. During experiments, the process resulted in current levels that were twice the power of current systems. While more work needs to be done to bring the technology to market level, the developments could potentially improve the function of solar panels, remote sensors, and other electronic equipment.”

Totally on board! Unless this takes away what the plant need to survive. Not only would that be rude, but that wouldn’t be sustainable either to kill all the plants that make energy use easier.

About D.Dinius

I am big on education, animals, and nature. So following that sentence I think it's important to be smart and animals and nature bring clarity and a calmness to things. I am new to actually paying attention and having opinions. This has been building well for about the last year. :)
